Changing Market Dynamism

The market dynamism is changing from ‘consumer driven’ to ‘affordable driven’, a phenomenon that is rapidly creating imbalance between productivity and purchase capability. Consumers are not relatively comfort enough to choose from array of available options as was the practice in past (decades); rather their decision making process is now based on affordability. Affordability is subjective and varies among people depending on their disposable income. However, irrespective of their class and income, consumers have considerably lost their confidence in plastic money and unsure of future income, let alone the savings. Banks have suddenly folded their free lending tents and let the consumers to mend their own paths to recovery. The result is ‘lack of confidence’ among consumers, traders, wholesalers, manufacturers and bankers. The significant development is the suspicious attitude among commercial entities about present market economy modules and subsequently eroding the trust level...

BJP's divisive demon

Ever since the creation of BJP as national political party and embraced with a divisive ideology, it not only divides the minds of Indians but also keep digging itself into the dearth of divisions that is untenable. The strong conviction of its dormant theory of ideology that is only well understood by its core members of BJP (who are those core members?), it has done more damage to country than help to develop as cohesive nation. If Jinnah has divided the country on Hindu and Muslim identity as claimed by certain section of subcontinent people, Jinnah is still dividing the BJP even from his grave! The divisive demon that was earlier let loose by BJP have found suitable place in home and busy in dividing the head quarter now. Expulsion of Jaswant Singh from party is reflecting the overall mindset of BJP leaders along with internal bickering. It is pity that BJP try positioning it as a party based on past history rather than future. A new drama is unfolded from Shimla to pave the w...

BJP wins Philipit but lost India

It is sad to see the tall leader Mr. A.K. Advani with somber mood due to unenthusiastic performance of BJP in parliament elections. He is one of the finest and articulate speakers who can drive the mass to madness of his liking. He is also one of the able leaders that India likes to see in political administration of the country. Of late he struggled with his emotional weight of his own and haunted past. Emotions can rule the mass, but to certain extend only. It is true that Indians are easily swayed by emotions, but the growth of democracy as such that every Indian knows that which the road to his or her better future is. The progressive voter of India knows where his butter is and will not shy away from the emotional chain to bring the rational output. Often, politicians ridicule the voters and got away with the things that he or she wants. Mr. Advani lost the battle before Varun Gandhi files his nomination in Philipit. Varun may have clearly outlined his road to his politic...

Condeleeza Rice – The Navigator

Condeleezza Rice have assumed a new role as a chief dictator, rather a navigator, who can direct all the mighty intelligence and police forces of subcontinent in a particular direction that will serve the interest of America. Since Mumbai terror attack, US Secretary of State is busy in monitoring the proceedings of political and diplomatic pressure in subcontinent. Now and then, she is issuing directives through media and other diplomatic channels to pressure India and Pakistan by issuing extra-judicial and extra-political authority on these two countries. If US seriously believe of a constructive role in these crises, they should put pressure on Pakistan only and not on India. US interests were there in nurturing such terror outfits in Pakistan so as to use in appropriate time to divert world attention and more importantly to pin down the Indian economy. LeT and JM are blessed by Pakistan government establishment with a tacit approval from their US masters. If US wants to shu...

The Voice of India - 2

Preface 2 To raise a common platform we Indians require smashing many hurdles. Smashing the hurdles is not at all welcome in a society that is riddled with countless agenda from conniving leaders, hence it is often understood as ‘bashing’ of one group against other for their own selfish reasons towards searching of common platform. Perhaps, that is the main consequential reason for intellectuals who are confused to break or afraid to penetrate. Obviously they are not ready to disturb the apple cart. Sometimes, I wonder and believe that it may be the main reason for the incomplete structure of our government, society, political system, education, religious intolerance and language barriers or divisions. All of them are perfectly giving an impression of decomposition or phantom. This country was structured by our beloved freedom fighters with their own genius style and wisdom, which is not understood by mass. In other words the mass was not ready to take the burden of understan...

Political blunders and Innocent lives

This can happen only in our country. Every mistake of the political leadership is heavily paid by the common people. Till 80s, we were paying it in the form poverty, poor economical growth, and discriminative living conditions but now by lives and blood. It is sickening to see the carnage of Mumbai for the past three days and shamefully all the leading politicians, irrespective of parties, were absent from public view. Where are they? Why are all hiding in safe heavens under Z category when the poor soldiers and brilliant officers are killed by terrorists? Until now, Raj Thakery, a politician from Mumbai was thundering around with his Goondas shouting ‘Mumbai for Marathas only’, but where is he when the icon of Mumbai, Taj Mahal Hotel was destroyed by terrorists? This can happen only in India. It is heartening to see the valiant fights by NSG, Army and Police personnel but saddening to see the death of innocent people and the fighting security personnel. The leadership is mostly uninsp...

The Voice of India

Preface ‘Being an Indian is not as easy as saying ‘I am an Indian’ The above statement is fairly enough to summarize the nation India. India is country of physically united but mentally divided. The mental division of Indian is the obvious truth but conveniently ignored often at all level. The process of confusion after confusion evolved for the past thousands of years, 'in the name of everything', is still in progress, and absolutely progressing without any disturbances, to the dismay of ignored opportunities to terminate this very ‘process of confusion’. I wonder how long this subcontinent needs to live with this turmoil of problems affected by the process of confusion? When are we going to terminate or cease the 'process and progress of confusion'? Yes 'we need change'. I am ready to borrow this slogan from Mr. President elect Barak Obama. I also strongly believe that 'yes we can'. We need to have a better India that has every beautiful el...

Experiment in Indian Cricket

It is heartening to see loads of experiments happening in Indian cricket under the able leadership of Greg Chappell and Rahul Dravid. Sometimes these experiments bring good results if not great results, often end up in crazy results. History of experiments in one-day cricket In one day cricket these experiments got noticed when Martin Crowe asked Deepak Patel to open the attack. Being an off spinner, Patel was able to create interesting impact and propelled New Zealand to Semi final only to loose against mighty Pakistanis under Imran Khan. (Well.. subcontinent players were licking their lips for these type of opening bowlers to murder them) Later Arjuna Ranatunga brought his sensational opening pairs Jayasuria and Kulwirathna with explosive beginning that hit out all other teams and won the world cup in 1996. So, experiment in Indian cricket is well expected, after Chappell’s appointment and of course Chappells are well known for their experiments in Australia as most of us can re...

Team India, still under experiment

This Team India is certainly doing well and high in morale when it will face mighty South Africans. South Africans cannot be rolled over as it happened to Sri Lankans. South Africans are known for hard fight and I believe this will be one of a crucial series for the youngsters in Team India. Each member of the team seems to be relishing his role and ready to do whatever the captain and coach wants? But are they immensely talented and ready for hard seasons at abroad? Especially the batsmen? Even great Sachin in these days plays superbly in one match and become ordinary in remaining matches. Yuvarj and Kaif does well when the axe is on their neck, otherwise, the team happened to content with their athletic fielding only. Shewag become prisoner of his own mental conflict either to continue the assault or check the strokes especially when he is in 30 to 40. Batting in Indian pitches is more or less not so difficult and every Indian batsman knew that he could excel in any given c...

Today is the Gift

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room's only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back. The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation. And every afternoon when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window. The man in the other bed began to live for those one-hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside. The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake. Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color of the rainbow. Grand o...
