Delhi election results is a beginning of Young India Movement
Young India is in despair, angry and often helpless due to
extravagant approach and attitude of ‘I know it all’ politicians whose style
and functioning have generally splinted their own fraternity in covering one
another faults and crimes. They dug
under the pretext of wisdom and experience and prevented Young India in giving
any space for active participation in politics.
Wisdom and experience may have its association with time, but not
necessarily connected with the advancement of age only. The old horses were pulling India at their
own speed and clamped the progress of the country; otherwise, the natural
growth is often pulling the country out of woods. The law of natural growth is taken as the
personal achievement of some of the political parties and individuals and
failed to give necessary impetus to nation for the growth it deserved.
Young India is pushed to IT corridors, university campus,
night clubs, employment offices, street corners and used as a donkeys to carry
the loads of past. The overwhelming
burden of past pushes Young India to the competition of ‘survival of fittest’
and allowed the old horses to run the nation the way they want. Indian politicians have created their fort
and classes and never allowed the common man in sharing the dais. The servants have become the masters and have
successfully created mass slaves in the name political party, religious and
cast divisions and vote banks.
India’s history is more or less married to destiny and it
always happens like an accident. The
Anti Corruption Movement, our own Arab Spring have contributed to the birth of
new political party, because, it is essential for us to fight within the system
even if we need to change the system.
AAP’s birth was a destiny to reshape the Indian political map. Young India has rightly taken up the
opportunity through AAP and the victory in Delhi is the right momentum and a
great beginning for a new political India.
The grand old political parties and politicians would be waiting
to trumpet the mistakes of Young India politicians and will try to set the
rules of game. It is the responsibility
of Young India, not to lose the patience and refrain from playing to their
hands. Young India should set the rules
and keep the momentum and initiative with us.
Let the old war horses play to our tune.
The bottom up politics infused by AAP in Delhi election is
the right strategy to connect with people and share the political administration
of the country. People being the stake
holders of the nation need to be connected at all level and with not just by communication,
but by engagement.
Democracy has proved once again in India that people are the
masters of the country, neither the rulers nor the administrators. Democracy
plays vital role in developing a nation and India is a proof, especially with
multi cultural, lingual and religious environment. Democracy allows everyone to grow without
intervening in others progress. Long
live India.
