Problems are to strengthen us

Problems are  predominantly originated from two distinctive sources.  One is from the consequences of our own bad decision,  action and reactions.  Other is from the Creator of universe, the God, to test our strength and characteristics.   Let us look at the problems from first origin. Every action and reactions has its own consequences and no one can escape from it. Consequences are the results of our conscious, unconscious and subconscious action and reactions to a particular cause.  All actions incur reactions and all reactions incur effects that may be beneficial or harmful depends on the objectivity associated with the cause prior to action.  Most of us often confused with the consequences originated from our own bad decision and actions and think that these consequences are from external sources beyond our control, or from God.  Further, we do blame those external sources and circumstances; and seldom ready to accept our own mistakes believing that we are always right and co

Justice after 31 years

“The brutal and bone chilling action”, the High Court bench noted while delivering the justice to Hashimpura massacre victims on October 31, 2018 at Delhi High Court.  This is one of the worst communal riots happened in Meerut, Utter Pradesh during May 1987.  The riots were continued for a week and more than 350 people were killed or lost during arson and killing.  During the week long riots, a PAC platoon rounded up Muslims and separated old and children.  Took 42 - 45 young Muslim men and shot one by one and dumped in Gang Nagar irrigation canal.  Five survivors were escaped with injuries by swimming and 38 of them were found floating after couple of days.   The survivors recounts the horrific tales of one of the infamous massacres that has happened in India.  They were loaded on trucks after gathered by Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) personnel and taken to two different places. While PAC was shooting them on point blank using .303 rifles on a roadside, but have forced

Game within the game - War, religions, myth and truth

In January 1, 1818, British owned East India Company with salaried army men mostly from Maher Dalits from Maharashtra numbering around 500 along with British soldiers defeated numerically strong Peshwa Army comprised of Maratha higher caste army men.  This war was known as third Anglo – Maratha war, in other word, Nationalism against Imperialism.  Nationalism represented by Peshwa and Imperialism by British forces. Britishers known for recognising the services rendered by anyone to advance their cause, have constructed a little war memorial in the village and subsequently it is known as Koregaon Ranstambh (victory pillar).  Marathas dislike this war memorial because it kept reminding the defeat at the hands of British army and more precisely Dalit Mahers who were once served as soldiers in Baji Rao II army, but Peshwas dismissed the dalits approximately a year before this battle.  The jobless Mahers find an abled employer, British East India Company and fought against previous empl

Saudi purge in the name of corruption

Saudi crown prince Mohammed Bin Salman’s (MBS) extraordinary action of arresting princes, ministers, higher government officials and businessmen under the pretext of corruption is the beginning of a painful surgery in the history of Saudi Arabia.  The surgical operation by MBS surprised everyone internally and externally.  If we look into the history of political, social and economic structure embroiled with tribal cultural system, this purge is certainly a shocking news to many.   A country which has been struggling for a decade without clear policy direction, financial mismanagement, known for lethargic government services and reticent business activities limiting to few highly connected rich individuals is now openly admitting that the economic crises is igniting political uncertainty.          MBS wants Saudi Arabia to move away from oil based economy to market economy, in other word, patronizing the population with grants and freebies must be removed as soon as possible.  It
