Game within the game - War, religions, myth and truth

In January 1, 1818, British owned East India Company with salaried army men mostly from Maher Dalits from Maharashtra numbering around 500 along with British soldiers defeated numerically strong Peshwa Army comprised of Maratha higher caste army men.  This war was known as third Anglo – Maratha war, in other word, Nationalism against Imperialism.  Nationalism represented by Peshwa and Imperialism by British forces.

Britishers known for recognising the services rendered by anyone to advance their cause, have constructed a little war memorial in the village and subsequently it is known as Koregaon Ranstambh (victory pillar).  Marathas dislike this war memorial because it kept reminding the defeat at the hands of British army and more precisely Dalit Mahers who were once served as soldiers in Baji Rao II army, but Peshwas dismissed the dalits approximately a year before this battle.  The jobless Mahers find an abled employer, British East India Company and fought against previous employer.  

Like many other paid army in the world, Mahers as professional army men was ready to lend their army services to any employer or king or zamindars or Peshwas.  For Peshwa it is protecting their hold on power.  For Britishers it is business expansion.   The concept of religious alignment with fellow religious men, or India as a country let alone nationalism, etc. were all not existing in those period.  

In January 1, 2018, the Koregaon Ranstambh is epicenter of unexpected Dalit assertion against suppressive Maratha dominants and the celebration turned into violence and subsequently resulted in state wide agitation which crippled Mumbai city for a day.  Nationalism Vs. Imperialism is turned in to fight between two communities for equality and assertiveness.  Once again, both of them have completely ignored their religion which is supposing the binding force for both.  

Why does the Hindu religion is failed here? 

Malik Kafoor, a Hindu brave solider was bought by Noura Khan, the army general of Allauddin Khilji during conquest of Gujarat and took him to Delhi.  Malik Kafoor converted to Muslim and becoming very close to Allauddin Khilji and fought many wars in Deccan and Madura (South India).  In his conquest, he had looted from all temples, destroyed them and took elephants loaded with looted gold and silvers to fill his Sultan Allauddin’s coffers.  He proved to be a worthy slave to Allauddin Khilji and kept him as a most trusted advisor and commander of Royal force.  Malik Kafoor nourishing the ambition to become Sultan of Delhi conspired and killed all his nemeses after the death of Allauddin Khilji. He prisoned the queen and blinded Khilji’s sons except elder son Mubarak and his younger sibling.  Mubarak escaped and Younger son was crowned as king and Malik Kafoor becomes his guardian and regent.  Within a month Malik Kafoor was killed by Mubarak and Khilji dynasty was restored.  

Why does the Islam religion is failed here?    

History is full of similar deceptions, massacres and manoeuvrings to capture the power and wealth.  King Rana Sanga invited Mughal king Babar and joined with him to defeat Ibrahim Lodi and later King Babar defeated Rana Sanga and ensured his dynasty.  Rajput King Man Singh joined with King Akbar to defeat King Rana Pratap Singh who was supported by a Muslim king Hakim Sur.  Auranzeb sent Rajput Mirza Raja Jaisingh to fight against Shivaji.  When Shivaji was held in Agra fort, he was helped by a Muslim known as Madhari Mehtar.  Shivajai’s Naval commander is a Muslim Siddi Sambal and his men.  Shiavaji’s confidential secretary was Moulana Haider Ali and his cannon force commander was Ibrahim Gardi.  

None will forget Battle of Plassey happened in June 23, 1757, especially, the so called Indian nationalists who boast as custodians of Indian nationalism.  It is a war initiated Robert Clive, the East Indian Company Chairman, Queen’s viceroy who teamed with Mir Jaffer to fight against Sirajud Daulah in Culcutta.  The reason was a year before, Sirajud Daulah, the last independent Nawab have captured British conclave and prisoned all officers including Warren Hastings.  Many of them died in the prison within one night. Robert Clive wants to revenge and defeated Sirajud Daulah with the help of Mir Jaffer and Armenian businessmen living in Culcutta.  

Was there any religion involved in this battle? 

Religion is a tool to use when it is needed.  Religion is an opium to incite violence and terrorise the opponents to scuttle them out once for all.  Religion is a intellectual tool can be misused to fool the innocents and is what happening in India and Middle East. India has the history of manipulating the religion by a particular dominating caste against poor and innocents. 

Sensing the possibility of asserting dominance in ruling circle of India, the higher caste Brahmins have devised a lethal formula to capture the power in independent India as they always did.  For centuries they have been assisting the Chatriyas, Kings, Mughals, Sultans, Nawabs and lately British rulers.  They found an opportunity to crown themselves as rulers of India using religion, because people in India are easily manipulated in the name of God with the new found tool democracy.  

RSS and affiliated forces are effectively using religion to assert their supremacy and meanwhile required to create an enemy to keep the innocent Hindu mass permanently under their clutches by creating fear consciousness, because they need numbers.  They would easily find Muslims as a common enemy because the floor was set by British for nearly 200 years by a decisive policy of divide and rule.  British Secretary of State Wood wrote to Lord Elgin in 1857 “that we have kept our power in India by one force fighting against other and we will continue to do so”.  

Congress after independence replaced British and used the same tactics and now RSS parivar almost replaced Congress to ensure their dominance in power by continuing the same policy of divide and rule.  They would always come up with issues that can keep the fear consciousness on top of mind among masses which will allow them to sail through their life easily.  

Yet, their main problem is Dalits.  RSS parivar need to keep Dalits because they give the distinctive advantage of numbers.  To ensure these numbers are with RSS Paris, they would always preaching equality and occasionally allowing them to occupy non-executive, but decorative positions.  Dalits are the most potent force that can destroy RSS plan at any time and is vulnerable.  Even though they have effectively brain washed their followers with Muslims as their enemy and waiting to convert entire India to be an Islamic state, but in reality, it is RSS that is in fear consciousness, because their tireless verbatim is failing to attract enough responses.  RSS should know that the numerical strength do not fortify the spiritual strength and is must aware that the masses can desert them any time, therefore, they require creating events that will constantly keep the masses engaged with false propaganda and promises.

Further RSS knows that the presence of Muslims in India will always expose the sinister design and therefore they are tirelessly working to suppress the voices of Muslims and Dalits to ensure that these two communities are always threatened and subjugated.  

The physical suppression such as mass communal riots and destroying the properties of Muslims and Dalits are not any more easily executable at contemporary world condition, which will eventually dry up the foreign business investments and collaboration.  India is not a small country like Israel, which is living under the financial aid of powerful ally USA to keep the issues under the hidden walls.  India need strong foreign support for their ailing economy to survive and prosper and it cannot be guaranteed with civil liberties including religious practices. Hence, RSS and parivar are using different tactics that is psychological and ideological supremacy, but completely failing to see the end game of losing the war because of intellectual paucity. 

An interesting intellectual battle is to divulge soon in India, but that will take place after breaking the backbone of India - the plural society.
